A suicide car bomb attack on an army facility in the Bannu district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has claimed the lives of 15 people, including 4 children and 2 women, and injured 25 others.
Authorities reported that two explosive-laden vehicles hit the wall of the facility and exploded, and that six terrorists who tried to enter the facility were neutralized after the explosion. It was reported that a mosque was partially destroyed and the roof of a house collapsed due to the explosions. It is thought that the attack was carried out by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistani Taliban.
