US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff made statements during a cabinet meeting at the White House. Witkoff stated that they hope to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war, nuclear negotiations with Iran, and the war in the Gaza Strip by the end of the year, saying, “Russia-Ukraine, Iran, Israel-Hamas, we have been having meetings on these three conflicts throughout this week and we hope to resolve them before the end of the year.”
Witkoff also announced that they were negotiating "multiple participations" in the Abraham Accords, which Trump initiated during his first term as president to normalize Israel's relations with various countries, without providing details about the countries.
Trump said yesterday that he believed the war in Gaza would reach a "final end" within two to three weeks.
