Vodafone's Quarterly Service Revenues Reached 9.2 Billion Turkish Lira

Vodafone Turkey has announced its results for the first quarter (April-June 2023) of the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The company's service revenues for this period reached 9.2 billion Turkish Lira.

During the first quarter of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Vodafone Turkey's mobile subscriber base reached 25.2 million, with a total of 28.9 million including Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication. The number of postpaid subscribers also increased to 18.8 million. Furthermore, the company's fixed broadband subscriber base stood at 1.4 million.

Digital Customer Base Reaches 17 Million

With a focus on digitalization across all channels, Vodafone's monthly active customer base using digital channels such as "Vodafone Yanımda" (Vodafone MySide) and "Online Self Service" reached 17 million. The total monthly interaction of customers using Vodafone's digital channels exceeded 438 million.

25.2% Increase in Data Usage

In the first quarter of the fiscal year, Vodafone Turkey's total mobile data usage increased by 25.2% compared to the same period last year, reaching 1,151 petabytes.

Growing Interest in Digital Services

Vodafone Turkey made significant progress in becoming a digital service provider during this period. The total sales through the "Her Şey Yanımda" (Everything with Me) online shopping platform, including "Market Yanımda" (Supermarket with Me), surpassed 5.4 million, and the platform's visits neared 188 million. The total number of users utilizing Vodafone's next-generation mobile financial solution, "Vodafone Pay," reached 4.7 million. The monthly unique user count for the company's personal digital assistant, TOBi, capable of handling nearly 1,000 different transactions, reached 9.4 million, with a monthly chat count of 37 million.

Engin Aksoy, CEO of Vodafone Turkey, commented on the first quarter results of the 2023-24 fiscal year: "Our service revenues reached 9.2 billion Turkish Lira in the first quarter of the fiscal year. The current macroeconomic conditions make it inevitable to implement applications that will increase efficiency both in our industry and the manufacturing sector.
