Spanish banking giant Santander will reportedly work with Taurus while offering Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) services to its customers.
According to people knowledgeable about the subject, Santander agreed with the digital money management company Taurus to protect the Bitcoin and Ethereum of its customers in Switzerland.
The Swiss arm of Santander Private Banking International announced on November 20 that it will offer Bitcoin and Ethereum trading services to its local customers.
Regarding the news that it reached an agreement with Taurus, Santander management said, “Unfortunately, we cannot comment. “We do not comment on our service providers or potential service providers.” said.
Geneva-based Taurus, which provides custody services for cryptocurrencies, announced in September that it had started working with another banking giant, Deutsche Bank.
