Truck carrying coal from Ukraine to Iraq bursts into flames

The fire occurred at the entrance to the Ankara direction of the Bolu Mountain Tunnel on the TEM Highway. According to the information obtained, the connection cables between the trailer and the cabin of the coal-loaded truck with the license plate 27 AFE 699, driven by Zafer P., which was carrying coal from Ukraine to Iraq, caught fire. In a short time, both the cabin of the truck and the trailer were engulfed in flames. The situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Fire department, highway gendarmerie and highway teams were dispatched to the region upon the report. Fire department teams intervened in the fire. The cabin of the blazing truck was reduced to ashes. The teams continue to cool the coal-loaded trailer. Traffic was controlled by gendarmerie teams and highway teams from a single lane.
