On September 3, the team, including foreigners, landed in Morca, Turkey's third deepest cave, located in the Sugözü District of the district. American Marck Dickey, who was part of the team that descended into the cave, which is the entrance to the Taurus Mountains from 2,100 meters, suffered stomach bleeding at a depth of 1,276 meters. Upon notification, a team of over 100 personnel from AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, Turkish Mountaineering Federation and abroad was sent to the region. It was reported that the treatment continued by delivering drugs and serum to Dickey's place from the first day, who became ill 5 days ago. It was stated that Dickey, whose treatment is still continuing at 1,276 meters, has a team of 14 people with him, and other teams are waiting at the top for support just in case.

It was stated that the work to determine the most extreme point that he has been to since 2012 in Morca, which is known as the 3rd deepest cave in Turkey, and to map it with its remains from the past to the present, started in mid-August and ended in mid-September every year.

On the other hand, it has been learned that Dickey's health is getting better with each passing day, and it is aimed to be removed with the team he is involved in in the coming days. What exactly scientists were looking for in the cave remains a mystery.
