According to the information received, the team, including foreigners, landed in Morca, Turkey's third deepest cave, located in the Sugözü District of the district. Marck Dickey of the USA, who was part of the team that descended into the cave, which is the entrance to the Taurus Mountains from 2,100 meters, suffered stomach bleeding at approximately 1,200 meters. Upon receiving the news, AFAD, UMKE and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region. It was stated that the mountaineer, who was disturbed, was given serum with the drugs brought by his teammates and his health was good. It was stated that a team came from Hungary as well as Turkey under the coordination of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation.

Geophysical Engineer Turgay Gönülalan, who is involved in the work of the cave research group, also gave information about the study and the health status of Marck Dickey.

"Research is done every year"
Turgay Gönülalan said, "A study that has been carried out since 2012. Every year, the waters are a little drier this month, so the cave is like a pit. It is a study that started in mid-August and continued until mid-September due to the decrease in the water issue. This year's work started on August 14th. , I came on the 30th. The same team does not stay in these works all the time. This is an international work. There are Americans, Romanians, Hungarians. Every year there is a joint work between foreigners and Turks. Currently, there are 21 people in the team. 4 of them are Turkish. There are 8 Hungarians, 4 Americans and 1 Spanish. You come every year, starting from zero, now at 1,240 meters. There are side roads. Every year research is done. These works continue until the cave is finished. Its map is being drawn. "We are working on whatever is specific to the cave," he said.

"Our friend will come out by himself after getting stronger for a few days"
In fact, many of our friends from Italy, Bulgaria and Turkey will be here for a few days, in case anything happens. I'm optimistic, in 3-4 days Marck will come out on his own.
