Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement following Israel’s violation of the ceasefire and attacks on the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu said that Israel has returned to an intense fight against Hamas and that the intelligence services and the Israeli army recommended this course of action.
Claiming that Hamas has rejected all suggestions to release more hostages, Netanyahu announced that military action has resumed for this reason. Stating that Israel will now conduct operations against Hamas with increasing force, Netanyahu said, "From now on, negotiations will only be conducted under fire. This is just the beginning."
Netanyahu said that Israel will continue its attacks until it reaches all its targets in Gaza. In the attacks launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip last night, 404 people have lost their lives and 562 people have been injured.
