A fireworks accident occurred at the July 4 Independence Day music festival in the US state of Utah. Due to a problem with the fireworks being launched at LaVell Edwards Stadium in the city of Provo, some of the fireworks fell on spectators in the stands. In a statement made by the police, it was stated that many spectators were injured in the incident and one person was seriously injured when a firework hit him in the face.
It was learned that the 6 people injured in the incident were taken to the hospital and the event continued after the accident.
