The fire broke out at around 04:00 in a hotel located in Kartalkaya Ski Resort. The fire, which started in the restaurant section of the hotel, engulfed the entire building. The situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Numerous health and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that the hotel was full due to the mid-term holiday, and the holidaymakers were immediately evacuated. A total of 76 people lost their lives.
