Following the Israeli army's withdrawal from southern Lebanon within the scope of the cease-fire agreement, the Lebanese Civil Defense began search and rescue efforts in the rubble. The Civil Defense announced that the bodies of 23 people have been pulled out of the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israeli attacks so far. It was reported that 14 of the bodies were found in Meiss al-Jabal, three in Markaba, three in Kfar Kila and three in Odaisseh.
The Israeli army withdrew from all settlements in southern Lebanon today as part of the ceasefire agreement, but announced that it would continue to deploy troops in five strategic locations. Lebanon, on the other hand, called for Israel to withdraw completely from occupied Lebanese territory in accordance with international agreements, laws and United Nations resolutions.
