Barış Bayram, CTO of Fazlanet Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş., warned about the threats that changing VPN (Virtual Private Network) and DNS (Domain Name System) settings will cause. Emphasizing that these methods, which have come to the fore again due to the Instagram restriction, are frequently used to access restricted websites and social networking applications, Bayram said that those who are not careful may experience serious security problems and may become victims of data loss and digital fraud.
