DNSSense will deliver DNS security solutions to different geographies with new partners in 2023

Global tensions, foreign policy changes and international relations have driven cybersecurity trends in 2022, when a war in Europe is taking place. In the report published by the European Union Cyber Security Agency ENISA, it was pointed out that geopolitical changes brought cyber warfare with it, while ransomware caused 10 terabytes of data to be stolen every month. According to the report, which emphasizes that ransom attacks continue to be one of the most important threat elements, state-sponsored cybercriminals and hackers stood out among the threat actors between July 2021 and July 2022.

Hüseyin Erdal, Sales Leader of DNSSense, responsible for Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, which provides DNS security solutions at global standards, shared his views on the changing threat ecosystem and DNSSense's 2023 targets.

Noting that today the war is not only seen on the field or in economic and political relations, Hüseyin Erdal said, “For example, in February last year, the famous hacker community Anonymous declared a cyber war against Russia. "Government-supported or independent hacker groups can organize systematic attacks based on international relations," he said.

DNS security investments in CIS countries will gain momentum
In the Global Cyber Security Index published by the International Telecommunication Union with updated data, it was seen that only Russia is among the top 20 countries in terms of total score among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS - CIS) countries. Emphasizing that Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are among the "developing countries" in this ranking, Hüseyin Erdal said, “The attitudes of governments towards global developments can directly affect the operations of businesses. In a world where tensions continue and the boundaries of the concept of globalization are redrawn, we think that cyber security investments, especially DNS security, will gain momentum in the countries I have mentioned.”

Mentioning that DNSSense (formerly Roksi) considers CIS countries among our priority markets as well as Turkey, Erdal said, “Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries stand out among the countries we focus on. In the second half of 2022, we accelerated our investments in this direction and recruited our country-specific experts in every country in the CIS region. We aim to increase our CIS team to 20 people by the end of this year, excluding the Turkey team. On the other hand, by establishing a local data center in Saudi Arabia, we have become fully compliant with the country's regulations. We are also expanding our operations in Africa and the Middle East.”

Saying that they are focused on delivering solutions in the field of DNS security to more businesses in more geographies, DNSSense Sales Leader in Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Hüseyin Erdal, concluded his evaluations with the following words: “For our company specializing in DNS security, 2023 is an important One of its topics will be the partner network we will establish together with powerful technology providers. We aim to contribute to global awareness on this issue by including DNSSense's solutions that promise end-to-end DNS security in the product portfolios of providers who share similar visions with us.

The DNS layer, which is used by many protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP and IoT, turns into a qualified source for detecting cyber security vulnerabilities when followed correctly. As DNSSense, we protect corporate networks of enterprises against internal and external threats with DNSEye, which reduces DNS log analysis costs, DNSDome, which provides cloud-based protection against DNS-based attacks, and Cyber X-Ray, an artificial intelligence supported domain classification solution. In particular, DNS security solutions are the way to eliminate the risks posed by internal threats that have authorized access to corporate networks and whose malicious behavior is therefore difficult to detect.”
