The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has launched an investigation into OpenAI.
According to the news of The Washington Post, a comprehensive investigation has been launched by the FTC into OpenAI.
Examining whether OpenAI violated consumer protection laws by putting personal reputations and data at risk, the FTC requested the San Francisco-based company for records of how it handled risks related to artificial intelligence models.
The Commission asked OpenAI to provide detailed descriptions of all complaints received regarding its products that made "false, misleading or derogatory statements about natural persons".
