Gun attack on football field in Mexico: 4 dead, 10 injured

Gunmen opened fire on fans during a football match in Yecapixtla, Morelos state, Mexico. In a statement about the incident, the Morelos State Prosecutor's Office stated that 4 people, including the former Mayor of Yecapixtla city Refugio Amario Luna, lost their lives and many were injured as a result of the attack by gunmen who came to the football field in 2 vehicles. According to eyewitnesses, it was stated that at least 10 people were injured in the incident, and it was learned that the attackers fled by getting into their vehicles. The injured were taken to the hospital after the first intervention by the medical teams who came to the scene. In the social media posts, it was claimed that some regional hospitals did not accept the injured in case of a re-attack.
The Chief Prosecutor's Office announced that investigations into the incident were carried out and an investigation was launched to apprehend the attackers.
